Barry McCabe: One of my favorite musicians. Check out his website to find out more about him. Barry has created a totally unique sound, "Celtic Blues". I highly recommend his CDs, and I especially love "The Peace Within".

Bleu Turrell: Award-winning Northwest fantasy artist Bleu Turrell painted the image of Sharlie that is featured on the cover of the book. A visit to his website is certain to spark one's imagination. Bleu has created artwork for many projects, from Disney to Houghton-Mifflin. He lives and works in Bend, Oregon.
Michael Lynch: Michael Lynch created both the hardcover and softcover book designs for "Sharlie", as well as the CD and insert for the back of the book. We often find ourselves looking at his work and thinking, "How'd he do that?" You can reach Michael at lynchgrafx@hotmail.com
Marja Lee Kruijt: Marja is a gifted fantasy artist whose painting "Dream Harp" is featured on the cover of Stephanie Johnson's harp CD. Marja lives in England among a community of artists. She works in watercolor and pencil, and has a delicate, distinctive style that is beautiful. transformative and deeply symbolic.

CD Baby: This is where the music is - thousands of independent musicians can be found on this website. The music industry is growing and changing, and there is so much great music out there, waiting to be found. This is the best place to start.
Sound Thinking: Doug Dyer of Sound Thinking (Hood River, Oregon) has designed three different recording studio systems for Swansea Music over the last 12 years. Doug is the person we enthusiastically recommend to anyone who is thinking of setting up a studio-he'll make is easy for you, and he's always available to answer questions. He is also a gifted photographer. He took the photographs that helped me to write Sharlie's story. One of his photographs is featured at the top of the home page of this website.
Oasis CD Manufacturing: Oasis did fabulous work replicating "My Solitude", Stephanie's Harp CD, and "Beneath the Water", the CD that is included at the back of "Sharlie". They are friendly and accessible, and their service and product just keeps getting better.

Women for Women International: This organization helps women who live in war-torn countries help themselves. Provides basic needs, helps them start new businesses, gives them the training and support they need to begin again. Each woman enrolls in the program for a year, and corresponds during that year with their sponsor.
